Ayako Igawa

Ayako Igawa is from Ibaraki Prefecture, which is famous for Kasama ware.

After graduating from the Japanese painting course at Kyoto University of Art and Design, he became interested in pottery, which he could use his Japanese painting skills in, and studied at the Ibaraki Prefectural Industrial Technology Center Ceramics Training Center.

She creates pottery with the aim of creating modest yet gorgeous pieces that will add color to your everyday life.

The delicately drawn patterns with thin lines and skillfully expressed colors are possible only thanks to the skills of Igawa, who studied Japanese painting at university.
You can see how carefully each tiny leaf and flower has been painted.

Igawa's works are lovely and have a soft style.

These are dishes that will make you smile the moment you see them.
