Handling Instructions
[Care Instructions]
For regular maintenance, wash with a sponge and dish soap, then wipe off any excess water.
If moisture is left on the surface, it can cause partial blackening and rust.
As you use it, it will gradually take on a calm, antique-like texture.
We hope you enjoy the charm of brass, which changes over time.
[How to polish]
One of the charms of brass is that it changes over time, but if you want to restore it to its original appearance, please care for it as follows.
-Trays and other brass-only works-
All pieces have a hairline finish (a finish with fine scratches on the surface),
You can clean it with kitchen cleanser and a stiff sponge.
Apply cleanser to a sponge and rub in circular motions without worrying about scratching the surface.
After polishing, rinse thoroughly with water and wipe off any moisture.
-Brass parts of cutlery-
You can also polish the brass parts of cutlery with cleanser and a stiff sponge, but be careful not to rub the silver-plated or tin-plated parts. When polishing, rub vertically along the hairline.
-Silver-plated and tin-plated parts of cutlery-
The silver-plated and tin-plated parts of the cutlery have a hairline finish with fine scratches, so you can polish them with a cleanser. However, polishing with a hard sponge will wear away the plated parts, so please polish gently with your fingers along the hairline.

Cutlery with a gentle and elegant sheen
"Sankaku" is a cutlery from atelier PEKA that exudes a gentle atmosphere.
From left to right, there is a small spoon, a muddler, and a teaspoon.
The part that touches the mouth is tin-plated.
It prevents brass from darkening and turning green when exposed to air, and also reduces its reaction with food ingredients, so you can use it with confidence.
The thin, flat handle with a hammered pattern is not only an eye-catching accent, but also easy to hold and stable when you want to place it on a plate.
You can use it without any hesitation.
Spoon S is for dessert.
A teaspoon is used to add sugar or milk to coffee or tea.
A muddler is useful not only for drinking alcohol or cold cafe lattes, but also for scooping jam or condiments from deep containers.
Cutlery with the special feel that only brass can provide.
This is a piece that you can enjoy as a gentle accompaniment to moments of hospitality or as a treat for yourself.

"I try to create pieces that express the unique texture and beauty of metal. I think the way the texture of metal changes over time is also appealing. For that reason, I try to create designs that people will never get tired of, and that they can continue to use for a long time."
Mika Yokozawa of atelier PEKA is a metalwork artist based in Yamagata City, Yamagata Prefecture, who mainly creates tableware and accessories.
These adorable cutlery pieces not only have the stylishness of metal, but also the softness that is unique to Yokozawa's work.
The cute, plump shape, the gentle shine of brass, and the soft glow of the silver coating will give you a gentle and glamorous time.
Each piece is hand-hammered with a wooden or hammer, giving it a unique texture not found in mass-produced items.
The more brass is used, the more the surface oxidizes, giving it an antique-like depth.
Enjoy watching the expression change to your own unique look.
