Handling Instructions
[Handling instructions]
- Please avoid using the pan for heating oily foods or for long periods of time, as this may cause cracks.
- Avoid sudden temperature changes as this may cause damage.
For example, putting something in cold water immediately after immersing it in hot water, or pouring hot water over a chilled container. - Please use a soft sponge as scrubbing hard with abrasives, cleansers, or metal scrubbers may scratch the surface.
- If cracks or fissures appear, discontinue use.
- There is no need to seal the porcelain, but due to the nature of the glaze, food stains such as tea stains will soak in.
You can remove some stains with kitchen bleach.

There may be some parts that are not clearly visible in the images, such as the shape, degree of distortion, texture, and color.
Please note that each of these vessels is a handmade item created by an artisan.
There may be parts where iron powder (black spots) appears due to the oxidation of iron content in the clay during firing.
Additionally, small indentations (pinholes) may be visible, but these are natural phenomena that occur during the firing process and are not defects.
Please enjoy them as part of the item's unique character.

Square petite bowl with a playful touch
Pottery from Fukube Kiln, where a husband and wife create seiki (stoneware with a fine texture) in Gifu Prefecture.
Its charm lies in its gentle and bright appearance.
A square small bowl with a cat's face drawn in the center.
The endearing expression, as if caught by surprise, is eye-catching.
The white slip applied to the sides creates natural variations in shade due to its varying thickness, giving it a sense of depth as if it were a pattern.
The striped pattern of the white slip and the clay base is a delightful touch that peeks through when food is served.
It subtly enhances the food while giving the entire dish a playful rhythm, making the dining table bright and light.
Fukube Kiln's pottery is captivating for its warm designs that suit modern lifestyles, all while carefully preserving the 50-year-old Seiseki-ware techniques that had once died out.
This playful piece can bring a sense of calm even on busy, stressful days.
It's a healing piece that brings a small smile every time you look at it.
