There may be aspects such as shape, distortion, texture, and color that are not clearly visible in the images.

Please note that each of these vessels is a handmade item crafted by an artist.

Some areas may show iron spots (black dots), which are iron content in the clay that oxidized during firing.
Additionally, small indentations (pinholes) may be visible, but these are a natural phenomenon that occurs during the firing process and do not indicate a defective product.
Please enjoy them as part of the unique character of the piece.

Salad cups to brighten your day

These are dishes from Fukube Kiln, run by a husband and wife team who make ceramics in Gifu Prefecture.
Their charm lies in their gentle and bright appearance.

This salad cup features a design inspired by dogwood.

The lovely, plump raised pattern, along with the delicate lines expressed through varying brushstrokes, overlap like flower veins, adding depth and richness to the cuteness.

It can be used for salads, as well as for granola or soup.
In the current season, it also serves well as a serving plate for hot pot.

The charm of this glazed stoneware lies in how it naturally complements both Western and Japanese cuisine, thanks to the balance between its bright, lovely hand-painted design and its calm, pale yellow base.

There are three types: soft yellow and turquoise blue. The motifs meticulously drawn on the inside bottom of the pieces convey Fukube Kiln's dedication and love for their work. Each item is available individually. It's a vessel that evokes the warm feeling of a long-awaited spring finally arriving.
