[Regarding the handling of tableware]
Ceramics are slightly absorbent.
After use, wash promptly and dry thoroughly before storing.
Hand washing is recommended.
Please refrain from using in an oven or over an open flame.
Gold and silver decorated dishes cannot be used in the microwave.

After entering the Department of Fine Arts at Tokyo Gakugei University, she encountered pottery, became interested in it, and pursued a career in pottery.
After graduating, she apprenticed under Mr. Azuhiko Ito in Kasama City, Ibaraki Prefecture. Later, she underwent training in pottery wheel techniques and glazes at the Ibaraki Ceramic Art Institute, then studied Shigaraki ware while creating pottery at the Shigaraki Ceramic Cultural Park in Shiga Prefecture. Returning to Tohoku, she explored and created pottery as a research student at Tohoku University of Art and Design, and in 1999, she established her own studio in Yamagata City.
"I want to create simple, easy-to-use vessels with a soft atmosphere. I would be happy if my pieces could become vessels that enrich daily life."
Ms. Chiaki Takeda of Chisen Kobo deeply studied and pursued pottery, including Kasama ware and Shigaraki ware, expressing her own work through various styles such as wheel-thrown, molded, and hand-coiled pieces.
She cheerfully and generously explained the many processes and glaze components involved in a single piece, and her enjoyment and passion for creating pottery, even while earnestly dedicated to the craft, left a strong impression.
Like Ms. Takeda's personality, her works have a gentle presence that evokes a sense of tranquility.
Their lightness, comfort, and ease of use, which makes you want to pick them up again and again, are also part of their charm.
