Please note that this item is a handmade product, made one by one by the artist.
There are some areas where iron powder (black dots) is visible, which is caused by the iron in the clay oxidizing during firing.
Also, small dents (pinholes) may be found, but these are natural occurrences during the firing process and are not considered defective products.
Please enjoy it as one of the flavors.

Beautiful gradation created by the varying shades of glaze
A green rice bowl that gives off a calm yet gentle impression.
The layered gradations that spread from the mouth to the base of the face give the impression of a rich, deep expression, which is clear from Kawai's attention to detail in the colors he used.
Its small height of about 6cm makes it easy to hold even in small women's hands, and its shape is comfortable to wear.
It is thin, so you can feel the lightness of semi-porcelain.
It would be fun to get different colors for each family member and change them depending on your mood.
These dishes will bring a smile to your table every day.

Mizuki Kawai
Kawai is originally from Aichi and currently works as a potter in Kyoto.
He has loved making things since he was a child, and when he was thinking about going to university, he remembered the memories of making mud balls in the sandbox as a child, and decided to take the plunge and choose the craft course at Nagoya University of Arts.
After studying ceramics at university, he worked at a studio in Tanba Sasayama, Hyogo Prefecture for four years.
In 2022, he became independent in Kyoto and began his own pottery making activities in earnest.
Kawai's works have such perfect forms that it is hard to believe they were made on a potter's wheel, and the colors that exude a feminine softness and beautiful gradations are eye-catching.
Kawai has always preferred matte glazes and has been creating works using them.
"One day, I saw the subtle differences that were born from firing and other conditions within a single glaze color, and I was so captivated by them that I wanted to express them."
His current style, born from this idea, allows for countless expressions to be expressed through the shades and bleeding of the glaze, allowing you to enjoy the nuances of depth.
Another attractive feature is the lightness of the semi-porcelain.
They are easy to pick up and blend into your daily life, adding a gentle touch of color to your dining table.
